Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your name and email address, and the organisations, projects, and time entries you create in NovaClock. We also collect basic usage information (pages visited, features used) and device information (browser type, operating system) to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide time tracking and reporting, to bill paid subscriptions, to communicate with you about your account and product updates (which you can opt out of at any time), and to respond to support requests. We never sell your personal data.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run NovaClock — such as cloud hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing for subscriptions — and only as needed for them to perform those services under confidentiality obligations.

Cookies & analytics

Our website uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner or your browser settings. We also use analytics within the app to understand product usage and improve it.

Data storage & security

Your data is encrypted in transit using TLS. We restrict access to personal data and follow industry best practices for data protection, including regular security reviews.

Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app — see Delete your account. On deletion your personal data is removed immediately, except records that another organisation owns (for example, time you logged for a team you belong to but do not own) or that we are required to keep to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time — deletion is available directly in the app. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@novaclock.io and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
